
Japanese conglomerate Toshiba Corp. announced last week there is substantial doubt about its ability to continue operating following massive losses experienced at the company’s Westinghouse nuclear subsidiary. The losses could total $9 billion and Toshiba is actively marketing its prized NAND flash memory unit to raise much needed cash.
